I have been researching my mother's family for some time (Wood) and was pleased to find your post. I believe that Matilda Jane Wood (1834-1870) was married to Duncan A McCallum when he died during the civil war in 1862. Can you let me know where you found his grave and information about his house please?

I believe that he and Matilda Jane had three or four children and that after his death, she married James Jackson.

any information you have would be greatly appreciated.
