Mr. Keever, that is indeed very sad. I understand keeping the diggers and metal detectors out of a area but to then turn around an destroy.............oh well. There was one pioneer cemetery around Batesville that was totaly bulldozed by a landowner. This was a fairly large cemetery, 50 or so people, complete with tombstones. For a while people could find the pushed up tombstones along the sides of the field. The landowner eventually hauled them off to hide any evidence of his crime. This was not recent and happened years ago. It's really a shame.
