Zack -

Glad to be of assistance. The Chattahoochee isn't my forté but the answer was easy enough to find. My particular area of interest is Selma and the role that place played in the defense of the "Trans-Chattahoochee" (my term for the region between the AL/GA line and the Mississippi River).

I, too, have done some writing and speaking but mostly on Selma, The Naval Affairs at Hampton Roads (in re the complete CSN victory there March 8 - May 11, 1862), The Battle of Mobile Bay, Selma Brooke Guns, CS Naval Guns/Ordnance, etc.

Let me know if you have any questions going forward. Thank you for allowing me to participate.

VBR to All,

Bill Lockridge
