Pam: Would you like a copy of the Moreno reminiscence? If so, let me know. I used an account from the first "Pensacola History Illustrated" in my article on the 15th Confederate Cavalry in the latest "Alabama Heritage" magazine. One other Pensacola native you may not be aware of is Colonel Gonzalez, who died in the fighting at LaGrange, Georgia in April, 1865 (along with Gen. Tyler). I have been looking for information on Maj (or Lt. Col.) Jon Pons from Pensacola. (I know there was a black activist by the same name in Pensacola - but I need info on the Confederate officer). Great to hear from you. Zack
