Stephen Mallory married Angela Moreno. Her father was a prominate leader in Pensacola and the surrounding area. Moreno's were among the first Spanish to settle here in Pensacola. I believe he fathered 27 children and had about 4 wives. They seemd to die young and if memory serves me right, he married sisters. I don't recall right off where Angela was in the birth order or which wife was her mother. I believe her Mother may have been a Dorr. That would have put her maternal line in the lumber business in Bagdad and surrounding area. They have a lot of history here on their own merit. After Stephen Mallory's death, Angela ran an inn or hotel. Their son became an attorney.

The Colombus Book you mentioned. I'm sorry, probably should read back up the post, is it about the Colombus Arsenal? Hubby's 4xGGrandfather was there and at the one in Americus, Georgia. One of my GG?? Uncles was also a quartermaster at both arsenals in Georgia. I would like to get information on those locations.
