Yes, I'd already run across your article on the net and I am convinced. The one thing I might quibble with, is I might suggest that the "typo" was actually an effort at self-preservation. They took the arsenal before secession which is Treason (with a capitol T) in anybody's book. There is a really nice account of Col. Theodore Moreno's attempt to block the Apalachicola River at the Rome/Floyd County Library. If you don't have it - and would like it - let me know.
