Please tell me what the "Confederate Veteran" article you mentioned said about Charles Snelling. I found material about him in other places. He was part of the Johnson County guerrilla band led by Matt. Houx, then by John Brinker, that by summer 1862 disintegrated with survivors going to Quantrill.
