Nelson Smarr of Ralls Co MO was captured same date/place and held St Joe with Edward T Smarr. Don't know if there is any famliy connection or not. Appears that Nelson Smarr shows up as Nelson Swall in NPS S&S record as member Jenkins 3rd MO Cav. That unit was clearly in NW MO in Sept 64 when these 2 were captured.
