As per you request, Josiah Walton Byrds Info was taken from the MS Confederate graves registry. Much of which was taken from the MS dept of Archives. You will have to contact Compatriot Dan Mcaskill at the Graves Registry to find out exactly where. Our Greene County Registry was compiled and is still a work in process i might add, from many sources, including the MS registry, state Archives, Family Geneology, Pensions and other confederate papers etc. The Decendent who is joining our camp must be a relative of yours, his name is Issac Byrd, and he lives in Greene County, where Josiah Walton Byrd did, many in this family line whose name was Byrd Served.
