Even though the info is kept at the Ms archives, what Dan McCaskill explained to me is that sometime in the 1900s families were asked to send in a card with info about their ancestor like "where buried". So the source could very well be something like that instead of a primary record so it is worth checking with him to find out. As I said it was my civil war ancestor's grandson that filled out the card. It was all old stories by then as his own father was just a young boy when the ancestor died in the war.
