Hello,

Jeff, I am definitely going to get your book. I discovered I have several ancestors who fought in Company D. I found a Gettysburg record that confused me and was wondering if you could clear it up for me. I am specifically looking for Pvt. Reuben Hamrick Green. I fought records that say he was captured on July 4th, but I found records that say he was wounded on both July 1st and 3rd. I am trying to figure out if that means he was slightly wounded on the first and returned to duty for Longstreet's Assault, or if he was wounded on the 1st and captured in a hospital or on the field on the 4th. Or if he wasn't processed until the 4th of July after having been captured during the Assault. Anyway, any help you could render would be excellent. I look forward to reading your book!

Regards,

M. Hinson
