Jeff - I note that you have identified several men from the 55th who were wounded on July 1 and fought again on July 3. I am curious who they are. As you may have heard, I will be giving a Gettysburg walking tour on October 30th on the Davis brigade - July 1 and will be walking my group through the Bender farmstead and along the feeder creek to Willoughby Run creek. I expect about 30 participants. If any of you who have discussed the 55th on this link are interested feel free to join me (ernscave@aol.com)
