I believe it was Shelby Foote who said the North fought the war with one arm tied behind it's back. Don't really think I agree with Mr. Foote there. My view is the Rebs gave then plenty to chew on. I do know that some Union troops were fighting Sioux and some Texans were fighting Comanches at the same time. Anyone know the number ogf Union troops fighting the Sioux or Texans (Confederates) used to fight the Comanches?
