I've always wondered about Bragg. He showed a lot of courage and ingenuity when he and Jefferson Davis were fighting the Mexicans. Isn't N.B.F. supposed to have called him out when he was commanding the AoT? While NBF was a big strapping man and I have no doubt he could whip Bragg in a bar fight or win with Bowie knives and an eye gouging contest. Should Bragg have still had some left in him that he showed during the Mexican War, Mr. Forrest might have come out on the losing end of code duello much to his chagrin. Don't know what made the difference between the Bragg of the Mexican War and the Bragg of the Civil War.
