The tenor of the postings from Stephen and Natty are worthy of a look. It seems the view through a 21st century lens is only relevent when one is critizing slavery. I cannot in good conscience advocate "Sic Semper Tyranus" which I believe translates death to tyrants, does it not. And then to add cheers to the statement. If the comtemporary people had thought so little of Lincoln they had their oppurtunity in 1864 to rid themselves of him. I think this line of conversation crosses the boundary.
