Pam, I cannot agree with calling Sherman a terrorist. He was a soldier holding a federally recognized rank in charge of a regular army. He was following a lawful order from his chain of command which went from Lt Gen Grant, to Sec of War Stanton, to the President. You may not like his methods of warfare, but you cannot call him a terrorist.
