Hey John;

Perhaps you are right, but it is hard to forget what Lincoln did, there is still repercussions today from it.

How can we forgit ( or should we ever forgit) order 11 &
Shermans burning, rapeing, murdering rampage?

One thing for shure people in here dont wanna talk much about Missouri, guess that is cause we were considered just a bunch of redneck border ruffans. Guess pepople dont realize the important part Missouri played in the cival war, it was the one state that was truley tore apart,
Lincoln kept us in check with his northern army breathing down our necks. I truley believe it was a war that couldnt be won from the beginning.

During the election of 1860 Lincoln got less than 11% the votes from Missouri, so I guess he didnt like us much anyways. Missouri was the only state in history, when claming to be part of the united states, where the us army
declared a state of war existed between it and the federal gov.
Missouri had 2 state governments dureing the cival war,
one seceded from the union and joined the confederacy,
the other remained loyal to the union. It was truley a war
of brother fighting brother.

Jamie, i hope u dont throw this out, because it is the first time I have really spoke about how I feel.
Sally
