David, what is the title of the Simpson County book? Did you or Mrs. David write it? You might recall my ggg-grandfather that lived in Simpson County for awhile had many slaves. I hope he was not the culprit.
Anyway, that story I related earlier was about negro dogs being used to capture Confederate deserters in the Big Thicket area of SE Texas.
