National Archives service files for soldiers of both sides are available through the message board. The same is true for pension applications for most Southern states as well as for U. S. soldiers who applied to the Federal government. Start by clicking on the rectangle outlined in red at the top of this page, then enter information for each of the files you'd like to have copied.
