Do you know of the Gardners or Buchanans of Dover? You may recall I wrote to you about A.J. Gardner, who was in Wellers/Taylors Artillery at Ft. Henry, then Napiers Battalion Co. B (Montgomery County) that mustered into Co. E, 10th TN. My Buchanan ancestor was Co. B, 50TN and I believe he became a partisan after Dec. 1862.
A.J. Garner was buried in the family cemetery near Ft. Henry, then moved after the lake was constructed.
