I knew the Battle of Adobe Walls occurred in Hutchinson County, but it is nice to know it took place on the later Turkey Track Ranch.
Also, your Thomas Logan Coffee, who established Coffeeville in Upshur Co TX in 1854, is listed as "[T.] L. Coffee" on an 1864 Mason Co TX area petition that Major J. R. "Buck" Barry sent to Col. Bourland Bourland. Other names on this petition were:
