Re: Martins 5th Partisan Rangers
In Response To: Martins 5th Partisan Rangers ()

Is there something I could send off for that might confirm the James Roberts in Martins 5th Rangers is my GG Grandfather?
Im looking for something that might show where he was living when he joined the CSA.
Is there a deserter list?
How could I find where he was discharged?
Would any of these documents show his wife or children?
This guy seems to be alive after the war but where was he hiding and why.
I have wondered if he went to Oklahoma where there are few records.
Thx
