If you can find a copy, I cannot find mine, of
the July 1997 "Confederate Veteran" there was
a good article ref "Rousseau's Raid on the
West Point and Montgomery Railroad"; includes
the engagement at Chehaw and follow-up actions
July 17-22, 1864; a note: future Governor
Braxton Bragg Comer of Barbour County is listed
as having taken part in, at least, the action
at Chehaw.
