Good find! This would imply that H.T. was not a part of the consolidation either, that he may have remained in the hospital (detachment, convolescence, etc) at the time of the regimental consolidation. So neither of these, H.T. nor G.(?) W. Horton considered himself in the 37th Alabama at the end, but rather gave his last unit of organization, which would have been the 42nd if they were detached from that unit before the consolidation into the 37th Alabama.
