I did not know about Augustus Nunn. I see he was in Co. E of the 34th GA. Minerva L. Anthony had a brother, Martin C. Anthony who was also in Co. E. Martin died SEP 1862 of disease.

My GGrandfather David A. Bray was in Co. H 34th GA, he was Minerva's brother-in-law. There was a William T Nunn in David's Co. H and he was at the final surrender with David. William may be a brother of Augustus, just do not know.

Martin moved to AL in 1860 and part of the family went with him. James Anthony was in 11th AL Infantry Co I, he was killed at the battle of Salems Church. Joseph B Anthony was in the 26th AL Infantry he died in the war. There is a Widow's pension claim filed by his wife Nancy the 26 SEP 1863.

Upon hearing of his Brother's death at Salems Church, Asa Anthony went to the court house in Fayette and joined the 11th AL Inf. And took his brother’s place. He was at the battle of the Crater at Petersburg VA and surrendered with Robert E Lee.

I have a question?? Augustus must have died in the war because I show Minerva moving to AL with her father and I show another marriage to a Turner Threatt 13 APR 1879 Fayette AL.
