A little news !

Private Augustus Nunn - May 13,1862

Captured at Champion Hill Miss. May 16, 1863.
Augustus was sent to Camp Morton Ind. then to Fort Delaware Del.

There is a conflict of reports on Augustus.
1. He is reported to have died 6/20/1863 at Fort Delaware
2. Rechords also have him at Chimborazo or General Hospital Camp Winder, Richmond VA. ( Died of Typhoid 8/5/1863 ).

The strange thing about report number two is that it also states that he has a wife - Esther E. Nunn and several children!!!

It seems that Augustus had a brother with him, James E. Nunn. James was also at Fort Delaware and was paroled July 3rd 1863, James next showes up at Camp Lee near Richmond VA. on July 19, 1863.

I think Augustus died at Fort Delaware and that rechord number two belongs to James.

SO, now I guess we need to check out James to see if Esther is his wife.
