Let Appomattox be a new beginning

Dear Mr. Morris,

I understand your frustration. If it seemed to you that I slighted you in any way, I truly apologize for it. When new sources of material are brought to my attention I frequently become giddy and cannot wait to share what is there with everyone who is interested.

I don't have a huge amount on the Seventh Kansas Cavalry. I am not entirely sure that I can find anything to help you with your specific area of questions. But I am looking for what I can find, and I will let you know what I come up with.

Should I e-mail you directly or post it on this site?

Warmest regards to a fellow researcher,
JAMES D. DREES
