Question
In Response To: Red Legs in Missouri ()

Interestingly, in his Noted Guerillas, Edwards makes very little mention of the Redlegs. In one of those rare mentions, he includes both Redlegs and Jayhawkers in his discussion of why Lawrence was targeted. Is there any documentary proof the raiders had expended any additional effort in finding and meting out their version of justice to those that would have been characterized redlegs relative to those falling into the broader category of jayhawkers?
