Order 107 Militia were as different from EMM militia as apples are to oranges. Reporting to a regional Federal commanding officer who happened to have his rank by virtue of of being in the EMM did not make all of the troops under his command EMM. Moving beyond this point, your find in regard to a Order 107 Militia company of Colored Troops is quite interesting. If muster lists for the company could be found at the state archives it should open up a fascinating line of research on a unit that was rare, and perhaps unique, in Civil War Missouri--an African-American militia unit.
