Hello.
I am interested in the the removeal and reburial of the soldiers after the Civil War. Were all removed and reburied?
In particular, were any of the bodies shipped home or were all reburied
within the state of Arkansas at central locations?
I do understand how the Confederates were treated.
However, I would appreciate comments on how the government of that time claimed that the Union dead were dealt with. Did this happen? What was the true policy??
