That is just terrible.
I have been told that one of the oldest cemeteries in
White County was believed to be under a pond now.
I have to say I have not been there to check out that location but I was told that by a group that I respect.
Of course I was outraged as I truly believe some of my kin were there.
I doubt the Confederate were moved either due to many reasons.
My opinion is that such things as happened at Pine Bluff are highly disrespectful.
I personally think there should be a law against such things with some pretty stiff fines, taking of the property, etc.
Wonder if there is any state rep or senator who would stand up for such a cause?
