From what I have seen, which are the listings of the dead at the National Cemetery, nothing like that is done. But there could be a list I do not know about. I have just got started on this search.
The National Cemetery listings say, if done correctly, the place where they were buried before, the date of death and their miltary connections. Of course, that which happened after the Civil War, had quite a few problems as far as I can tell in this area.
