Re: reburial of the Union soldiers after the Civil

Someone with the National Park Service can comment in more detail, but soon after the war the bodies of Federal soldiers were identified and moved to National cemeteries. Since nearly all were moved, it leads me to believe that John Anderson came to Arkansas after the war and died many years afterward. Perhaps Anderson appears on a post-war census of Arkansas.
