But, after have suffered the loss of three of my wifes family in the last 6 weeks including her mother, which was as dear to me as my own mother, and a favored aunt also, Maybe it is time I reordered my priorities and back away from the furnace of debates, which served little purpose, to spend more time on more important pursuits.
I don't mind helping someone with their questions if I can have some ability to provide them with insight. These boards would not be useful if no one answered the questions asked. To have anyone attempt to give a goodfaith answer is a courtecy, which no one has to do. But when you love something it can become an addiction. You will find no one who does War Between the States studies who is totally of a neutarl bias. And I am not ashamed that my strong bias is for the southern people and the southern soldier. Even those who say they are above the fray, only fool themselves. For they also have a bias even if it is in their own supposed neutrality. That is only human nature.
In any case I am going to take some time off from these boards and away from the fray.
