I help with all this historical stuff in hopes that I can honestly give another point of view.
I always say,"all of mine wore gray." I can even tell you who served and for the most part what happened to them
because I taught myself.
No shame, lots of pride and of course I was raised to believe the term, Damn Yankee was a curse word.
Every single branch of my family struggled to recover from the War Between the States.
No matter who you are or how you feel, when you are being invaded, you stand and fight.
I am an American who is proud of her Southern heritage.
