My 3G Grandfather, M.R. Holloway was "mustered into the army at Thomasville, Ga. on August 18th, 1863" as a private. This information comes from a family bible note left by my father, Glenn T. Adams, who had to read it from a stage in 1916. The note continues "He was only 18 yrs old and stayed in the army about 1 1/2 years" In 1916 he lived in Barwick, Ga.

Can anyone shed any more information on this individual as we are trying to put together a family history.
