Re: The Wanderer's Letters on the Beale Bridges

To read the seven letters that the Wanderer wrote in 1859 as he visited various locations along the new Beale Wagon Road in Indian Territory west of Fort Smith, you will need to exercise the search engine at the Home Page for the Penn State digital newspaper library given under the table shown below.

The table provides the Search Words that I used to find the seven letters published by The Press of Philadelphia for the publication date shown. Use their date range function or their data analytics analysis to winnow down quickly the date range covered by the search for all the Penn. newspapers covered. All of the letters will be found in The Press for 1859.
