Tiger - Many thanks. I quickly found Mora, the site of Carroll Jones' trading post on Hwy 118 leading to Kisatchie, which makes sense with my primary sources. I presume McNutt's Hill is to the west of Hwy 121 somewhere north of the modern town of Gardner west of Bayou Rapides. There seems to be a bow in the road to the east between Gardner and Hotwells. Is this close?
