Thank you. I agree that this is my Great Grandfather. I also found on 3fold but have not been able to find it back a note about him being apprehended in Alton, Ill on his way to Peoria where his wife's family was currently living. That makes me sure it would have been him using his middle name. I appreciate the information and will read the rest of the articles.
