I encourage you to come back & visit Mississippi when you can.

We all need to walk the same ground where our ancestors served.
My GG Grandfather was also in the Synder's Bluff area during the
late summer & fall of 1862 . I try to visit those bluff's (just a few miles
north of Vicksburg up HWY 61 on the Yazoo River) at least once a year.
