I don't judge, as you see on my Family page he is listed along with others who fought for the Union, They are me and I am them, can't separate us if we could.

My GGG in Arkansas didn't believe in Secession, did not like having to fight the Union soldiers, the ones in Alabama lived in the mountains, they were mostly Unionist, But I also had an Alabaman that rode from Winston County to Mississippi to enlist in the Confederacy.

Those were trying times for all, we can't judge, but we can thank God that they survived to provide us with our heritage.
