But they were "not" fully represented, they were out numbered in the House, anyone who knows how congress was set up would know that. The Northern States did what they wanted done, I don't see this as being "fully" represented.

#2 The North invaded the South
#3 The President did not have the right to call up troops to stop secession.
#4 He did not have the right to declare War on another Country without Congessional approval.
#5 He could not declare martial law without an act of WAr or insurection,or riot.

I prefer Ballots, but the Confederacy didn't have a chance with Ballots. Lincoln was left off Seven Southern States and still won, that should tell you something about ballots and the War for Southern Independence.
