the boys arent havin no part of that. Sooo they get in a big fight,, the watermellon patch gets destroyed along with all the mellon, the farmer who they were swipeing the mellons from got mad,,, he chases them all out of the patch and calls his neighbor,,,that neighbor calls his neighbor and on down the line,,,they round up all the boys
and make them work for free,, till the debt is paid off,, the boys think this is slave labor, so they object.
Each boy calls in his friends and so on and so on,,,,,,,,,

Makes just about much sense as how the cival war got started.
