Stephen, Lincoln prefected it. And the politicians of today
have improved on it.

I was on George C. Wallace's security staff. Publicially he said "Segeration today, segeration forever." Priviatly he did not practice that. He worked hard to improve race relations in Alabama. He often said that in politics sometimes you had to do or say what the voters wanted to hear in order to get elected.
Sorry I strayed from the topic. I just believe Lincoln set the mold for politicans after him.
