That is where you and I disagree, several years ago, a woman was considered to be immoral or loose if her dress was above her knees. Now they are barely keeping them below the cheecks of their behinds,,,

Slavery is mentioned all through the bible and it is condoned if not approved of. Sarah offered Abraham her Hand Servant to produce a male child for Abraham. For example. Today that would be pandering and adultery. So the morality has changed in that perspective.

In 1860, civilization was outgrowing slavery, but by 1820 standards it was still moral and socialy accepted. 1860 it was pronounced immoral, but not all prescribed to the immorailty clause. If you look at the Bible no it wasn't, if you look to see what was becoming socialy unacceptable it was also becoming immoral.

Was slavery immoral in 1860? No Sir I do not believe so. Is it immoral today? Yes Sir it is. Does morality change over time? Yes I believe so.

Is God going to forgive me if I'm wrong? Yes Sir he will!!!!LOL
