David, your response to MOC site selection seems to suggest that restoration of Montgomery's once central role in the old Confederacy may be more important than MOC site selection criteria having as its objectives not only the preservation of Southern Heritage in an appropriate venue, but also the objective of spreading the Southern heritage story in such a way as to educate millions more who only think about the South as being synonomous with Slavery.

Done right and for the right reasons and the viewing public might be expanded beyond the borders of the Old Confederacy in such a way as to explain what the Southland was, is and can be in America's future.
