Although not stated, it is my belief that the museum I speak of will be both state and privately funded. Further, like the Kennedy National Center for the Performing Arts. it was said early on that all that would be built would be a Center for the Performing Arts. It remained to be seen if it became a "national" Center. That is my own concept of a "National" Museum of the Cnfederacy. First and foremost, it is a Museum. It remains to be seen whether it becomes a "National" Museum, but I think that is the veiwpoint its design and implementation should keep in focus.
