Thanks for posting the pictures. The cataloger of the collection at Brunk has a degree in textile conservation she was sure the flag was period but was told by someone it wasnt a depot issue. The edging looks like wool bunting to me, wouldnt flannel be less transparent? As for the 2 flags in the MOC stylisticly they look identical to the Meade flag. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us who are less informed.
