I just did copy & paste of my earlier post to counter you claim of your prior statements. I can also repost the deference in actual samples of the weave used to produce period flannel material and compare them to what was used on the flags border but I won’t, you can reread them if you wish.

Until more cogent evidence is presented, hopefully from someone with textile experience, it is inconclusive that this is or was a Staunton made flag. So until then…
