Harsh words, sir, and too broad to bear their weight. I had two relatives, Isaac Boring and Peter McCollum, rebels in the Revolutionary War. They fought in the Carolinas, And the rebels were ultimately successful, if I recall.
I had three in the WBTS; one died, one was wounded (twice), and two were captured, which means at least they were close to the enemy. They lost that war, but they sure did a lot with a little. It took Abe's boys four years to beat 'em. Stan
